QMS Merger Announcement - Quality Innovation Performance
QMS is pleased to announce that its Board has endorsed a plan to merge with the following accreditation organisations: the Quality Improvement Council (QIC), Quality Improvement and Community Services Accreditation Incorporated (QICSA), and Quality in Practice (a subsidiary of Australian General Practice Accreditation Limited (AGPAL), and form a new company - "Quality Innovation Performance", >which will become a subsidiary of AGPAL.
National health reform will result in the expansion of accreditation in the community and broader health care sectors; the combined strength resulting from this merger will ensure that QMS via Quality Innovation Performance will be well positioned to address these significant market trends.
The vision behind Quality Innovation Performance is the provision of streamlined, value adding accreditation services across the entire health and human services continuum from community services and primary care to secondary and tertiary health organisations.
Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) will provide assessment, accreditation and related services for all types of health and human service organisations including all the current services provided by each of Quality in Practice, QIC, QICSA and QMS.
